Font - Title says it all. I work for a mortgage company and have 2 main bosses. They're co-branch managers basically. We have maybe 15 people in my office. Or we HAD that many. Over the last several months they've laid off 4 of the most important people because they "couldn't afford to keep them on."

Font - They also told me just last week I couldn't get a raise, and that at this point I should be happy to just have a job in this market. Today the other boss remarked to me that we wouldn't have had to fire the people if we didn't have to pay the other bosses wife 5k a month. I was taken aback.

Font - The lady doesn't even work at our company. I make HALF as much as her. Her name comes up in the company directory though. Wtf. Her husband (the other boss) is crazy hardcore about ever taking time off or vacation days because "that's not what salaried employees do."

Font - masterpate OP. 9 hr. ago If you or anyone has any idea how to report it I will gladly do so. I poured my heart out a week ago to him about how I'm struggling to get by, and for him to tell me they can't afford to pay me a cent more is just awful, knowing what I know. Reply Share 1.4k

Font - masterpate OP. 9 hr. ago You gotta understand this guy is wealthy though. Easily makes a mil a year I bet at least. So as dumb as it sounds I don't want it coming back to me. He has the money to fuck me and I don't have the money to fight it. 726 Reply Share

Font - In 1 month, the guy was contacted by the IRS, and 3 months later was fined a lot of money. He never knew who reported him. 89 Reply Share

Font - masterpate OP · 9 hr. ago · edited 9 hr. ago The other boss told me (as if it makes it ok) "the $60k just goes to her retirement account. It's no biggie." Uhhh what? This has gone on for at least 4 years. She's put almost a quarter of a mil into her retirement account, likely with a company match, for not working? Wtf

    Font - I should say I don't know about a company match for the 401k. But I know she's getting $5k a month. Reply Share 73
